We are currently recruiting for an exciting new opportunity working as a Housing Officer based in Littlehampton.

This role is temporary to permanent, and we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible

You will support with generic Housing Management & Repair activities including arrears, void management, estate management, customer involvement, income management, lettings and other related tasks.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer services to residents and the internal customers.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure that properties and estates are visited.

  • Being involved in ensuring that our residents receive excellent service.

  • Embracing change, new concepts and being a positive ambassador for the organisation.

  • Accompanying prospective tenants to visit the scheme, explaining what is on offer, advising of the terms and conditions and ensuring the rights and responsibilities are understood.

  • Undertaking tenancy sign-ups, welcoming them, and completing basic paperwork and administrative tasks.

  • Carry out visits to ensure their accommodation is safe and report any issues or concerns.

  • Conducting monthly health and safety inspections of properties, both internal and external.

  • Helping to resolve any issues and minimise any low-level tenancy or estate management issues.


  • Proactive in your workload and able to work to deadlines.

  • You should be passionate about customer service

  • You will be confident in the use of IT systems and be a fast learner.

  • You need to be happy to travel and whilst the role is focused on Housing Management and Repairs tasks, you will be comfortable working across all our business areas.

  • You will ideally need a full driving licence and to have access to your own vehicle
