Our Client who are a Chartered Financial Planners in Cheltenham are seeking a Trainee Paraplanner to join their busy team. Ideally the client are seeking a candidate with a good knowledge of investment products, who are working towards their Financial planning exams. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their experience and be part of a growing company, and to work alongside highly qualified Advisers. You will work directly with one or more Paraplanners, and also work closely with the IFA Administrators.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing analysis on a client's investment portfolio.

  • Collating and analysing information

  • Dealing directly with clients for routine enquiries and administration

  • Preparing of illustrations, key feature documents and all other information to meet compliance and support the advice process.

  • Ensuring that all procedures and processes are updated where necessary

  • Gathering and collating data from reports, diagrams, statistical analysis.

  • producing detailed reports

  • Supporting the Paraplanner with any administration for projects or plans, as well as managing and prioritising your own workload.

  • Creating client portfolios

Experience required:

  • Excellent IT skills, especially in Excel

  • Able to produce letters and reports

  • Manage your workload by prioritising and being pro active

  • Remain accurate and have fantastic attention to detail in all work

  • Excellent organisation and communication skills

  • Have effective relationship building skills

In return our client can offer annual leave entitlement of 20days +8bank holidays (increases by 1 each year to a maximum of 33days) working hours Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm. 6% pension contribution, private medical insurance. Due to the location of my client you will need to be able to drive. As they are not accessible by public transport.
