Trainee Product Supervisor

We are looking to hire a Trainee Product Supervisor to oversee the manufacturer of our world renowned product. Initially this will be a trainee position but progressing to supervisor in due course.

This role would suit an applicant who is practical, coordinated, organised and has an attention to detail. Over time you will gain knowledge across the whole production process from preparing raw material to finished product. The candidate should consider that some aspects of the process can be physically demanding when handling the product.

Due to the nature of this product, a successful applicant will require patience during the training stage until sufficient knowledge and practice can be demonstrated.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop into a supervisor. Strong people and communication skills will be required. Ideally the applicant will have some experience managing small groups of staff and management, analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

At the end of the training process, your role will include:-

The ability to produce product from raw material to finished product

 Implementing production policies and procedures

Delegating manufacturing tasks so that the team meets production deadlines

Managing a small team of workers on the production floor and to evaluate each step of the process to ensure maximum efficiency.

Inspect product prior to shipment to ensure accurate labelling and record keeping

 Quality control of product

Ensuring machinery is maintained and in good working order

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety standards

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, willing to learn this specialised production technique and become an integral part of the production team as our company expands and moves forward. Prior experience in manufacturing would be an advantage.
