University Quality Assurance & Curriculum Administrator


Our client, based in higher education are looking for a QA & Curriculum Administrator to support the work of the Registry by supporting the processes for development, modification, suspension and withdrawal of programmes and modules, assisting with the operation of the Programmes Committee, and supporting the effective implementation of student and staff-facing information about programmes and modules.


The post-holder will work closely with the Assistant Registrar (Programme Development) to support the effective communication of the College procedures to ensure a consistent approach to their application.



  • Location: South Kensington

  • Pay: £17.98 per hour

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, 35hrs

  • Type: Temporary

  • Duration: 2 weeks +

  • Start Date: ASAP


Job Description


Programme and Module Approval, Modification, Suspension and Withdrawal



  • Liaise with departments regarding the modification, suspension and withdrawal of programmes of study and support their preparation of the relevant paperwork for consideration at committee.

  • Provide support for the new programme proposal process including supporting the preparation of documentation, ensuring paperwork is received promptly and circulating proposals to reviewers.

  • Work with Registry colleagues, academic departments and the Student Marketing team to maintain an accurate and definitive record of the College's programme, module and short course information, including the publication of information online and bearing in mind the College's requirements under the Competition and Markets Authority.

  • Provide administrative support to the secretary of the Programmes Committee.


Quality Assurance Team support



  • Assisting with the coordination and preparation of papers for relevant Committees as required and attending meetings where appropriate.

  • Support the implementation of quality assurance procedures for the College in the context of external quality frameworks and provide advice to academic and support staff on the requirements of the procedures.


Skills/Experience



  • Experience of academic administration in a Higher Education Institution

  • Experience of the application of institutional level academic regulation and procedures

  • Experience of providing a responsive, timely, customer focused service - on the telephone, via electronic medium and face-to-face.

  • Evidence of providing advice to stakeholders and making suggestions for alternative sources of information where appropriate.

  • Experience of servicing committees or working groups

  • Experience of the administration of programme and module approval and amendment processes
