We are looking for verification engineers to play a key and principle role in verification activities allocated on EFA to include audit support activities for FPGA Verifictaion.

Duration: 6 months (likely to become permanent)

The role will require the following
- Understanding hardware and firmware requirements to decompose into verification test plans.
- Write and maintain RTL test cases, self checking test bench and complex models that adhere to test cases, coding guidelines, internal processes, best working practices and D0254 standards.
- Conduct peer reviews to (i) validate requirements, (ii) check/verify, (iii) check testbench development, (iv) check test procedures and (v) check test cases + compliance matrices.
- Leasing with other teams to investigate and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Produce, support and maintain metrics of progress (if considered necessary) against plans.
- To co-ordinate and plan the verification activities required to show compliance for the DUT.
What qualifications are required?
Electronics/ Electrical Engineering Degree or equivalent with sufficient experience & expertise of writing complex verification models, test cases and testbenches in VHDL for Aerospace applications or similar safety critical industry
What skills and/or experience are required?
Experience & expertise of :
- Experience of developing complex self checking testbenches, associated models and test cases in VHDL for the verification of complex designs (understanding and experience using OSVVM would be an advantage).
- Experience of verifying requirements with an emphasis on completeness and robustness.
- Conducting peer reviews to validate requirements, verify code, testbench development, test procedures, test cases + compliance matrices.
- Proficient in the use of modelsim with a good understanding of TCI scripting, requirement capture (ideally using DOORS to translate into a document) and Windows OS and office tools.
- Experience and good understanding of working to a DO*254 development cycle, and working to internal company standards, and ensuring configuration control of design code and releases (preferably using GIT, SVN, Polarion).
- Must be a good communicator, well organised and capable of working alone to tight deadlines as well as being a team player committed to achieving a common team goal.
