Victims Bureau Officer - X2

We are currently recruiting for 2 Victims Bureau Officers in the Bournemouth area. The main responsibility of this position is to provide a consistent end-to-end service for victims and to ensure that victims are kept informed at every stage of their investigation.


  • Interrogation of relevant computer systems to identify victims which require updates and update accordingly with the progress of investigations

  • Assessing victims to identify those who are persistently targeted and flag appropriately

  • Advise and signpost victims to relevant services

  • Dealing with distressed callers at immediate risk of harm and ensuring their safety

  • Acting as the main point of contact for victims


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to handle difficult customers and sensitive issues

  • Ability to work without close supervision

  • The ability to manage a diverse and often heavy workload
