We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of the top universities based in Central London. Our client is looking for a temporary Visa Compliance Administrator starting on the 14th June 2021 for 5 months. This role is paying £16.74 per hour.

The Student Services Centre is responsible for undergraduate and taught postgraduate student support and administration. Its service portfolio comprises orientation, induction, registry/student record functions, exams, graduation ceremonies, appeals, student advice and UK visa advice and compliance. Within the SSC, the Visa Compliance and Change of Circumstances Team is primarily responsible for student visa compliance, student change of circumstances administration and relevant external reporting. The post holder's key responsibilities are to:

* Provide support to the Visa Compliance and Change of Circumstances Manager for immigration compliance functions

* Provide support in the management of processes relating to changes in student's circumstances

* Keep up-to-date with UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) policy and guidance and contribute to maintaining and updating existing compliance processes, as appropriate

* Provide support in the management of processes relating to the Student Loans Company (SLC)

* Assist with day-to-day SSC business support.


Experience of working in a busy administrative environment

An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel); and the ability to effectively use specialist IT systems, particularly bespoke and/or complex databases

Proven willingness and ability to develop specialist knowledge and skills

Good working knowledge of the SITS student (or a similar) record system

Proven experience of providing excellent service to students and colleagues within other departments.

Experience of UK student visa compliance and/or Student Loans Company administration in a Higher Education setting
