JOB TITLE: Warehouse Administration


SALARY: £22,000.00 to £24,000.00 per annum (depending on experience)


LOCATION: Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire


My client is well established business based in Brookmans Park, Hertfordshire. They are looking for an experienced, engaging and enthusiastic individual to oversee the performance and maintenance of both Warehouse Administration and Stock Control.


Responsibilities



  • Monitor stock levels and advise on minimum stock levels and forecast trends

  • Place orders raising and sending appropriate Purchase Orders to Supply chain

  • Checking and authorising invoices

  • Checking and receiving goods on ERP

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods on receipt of delivery

  • Answer telephones and respond to enquiries promptly

  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities compiling daily and weekly reports if necessary

  • Organise and maintain inventory, storage areas and office

  • Interface with customers, delivery drivers and couriers to answer questions or solve problems

  • Work alongside the Warehouse Manager keeping the team informed of any problems

  • Attention to detail when completing tasks and high accuracy levels



Requirements



  • Full UK Driving Licence

  • Previous experience working within a similar role and/or environment (preferably within the construction industry).

  • Self-Motivated and disciplined

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal

  • Computer Literate with good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Excellent numerical skills with strong commercial awareness

  • Experience of stock control and purchasing

  • Working hours Monday - Friday 07:30am to 16:30pm

  • 20 days pa plus Bank Holidays

  • Pension

  • £22-24k per annum (negotiable depending on experience)
