We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join one of our clients in Sheffield. They have gone from strength to strength throughout Covid and they are looking to expand their team due to a promotion internally.

  • The suitable candidate must be computer literate, have word processing skills/office 365, ideally have experience of using accounting software, and any knowledge of export procedures would be an enormous benefit.

  • General administrative duties such as - filing, photocopying, stationary orders.

  • 80:20 ratio split of admin versus warehousing.

  • The suitable candidate will work as part of a team but must also be able to work under their own initiative, recognising what work needs to be completed at certain points throughout the day.

  • Full training will be given in all aspects of the role, both in house and by attending external training courses

  • Monitor issues with stock orders;

  • Inform internal and external customers about any changes with orders

  • Assist logistics team process customer returns;

  • Deal and respond to emails/call in a timely manner.

  • Assisting the department manager with administrative paperwork and IT work;

  • Liaise with courier in regards to timely delivery and next day delivery to ensure prompt arrival of products.

  • This is a permanent role however depending on the candidate this may start off as a three month temporary position or the client may offer the position straight away but they will discuss this at interview.

  • Working hours will be Monday to Thursday 7:30 to 16:45, with two ten minute breaks, mid-morning and mid-afternoon, and a lunch break of thirty minutes. You may be required to work on Friday mornings 7:30 to 12:00 on an occasional/overtime basis.

  • PPE is provided by the client

  • Parking on site and canteen facilities with tea and coffee
