Warehouse / FLT Driver 6am-6pm 5 days over 7 including weekend
Working on a average 36 hour week, please note all offers are subject to a DBS Check and pre-employment medical

Reporting to the Warehouse Team Leader, the Warehouse Operators will be required to ensure all orders are dispatched correctly, on time and in full compliance with the order specification. The Warehouse Operators will also be responsible for the transfer of raw materials to and finished products from the production plants and ensuring the computer system accurately reflects all stock movements.

Warehouse/FLT Operative Duties will include:

  • Working in a Warehouse Environment

  • Loading and Unloading Parcels onto Conveyor belts and vehicles

  • Using a hand held scanner, Packages will need to be scanned as they travel through the facility.

  • Fasted Paced environment but adhering to all Health and Safety instructions.

This position will involve repetitive manual lifting and some stock could weigh anything up to 20 Kgs.

It is essential that you have a good level of fitness.

For this Role you will need:

  • For this role we will need to apply for a DBS check (Criminal Record Check) to confirm that you do not have any disqualifying criminal convictions and you will also need to go complete some aviation security training

  • We will need to carry out a full 5 year check which includes previous employers / education

You will be willing and able to work extra weekends and overtime if required, so it is essential that you are flexible.

Candidates should have experience in fork lift truck driving - preferably holding an accredited licence.

To succeed in this role it is essential that you have manufacturing experience, within a multi skilled Warehouse environment. Candidates should ideally be qualified to GCSE level or equivalent, possess excellent communication skills, numeracy and computer literacy skills and the ability to work as part of a small team.
