Role scope and area covered:

The successful candidate would be responsible for control of all inventory related functions in the company. The Inventory / Warehouse Manager will be required to supervise all aspects of inventory logistics within our warehouse, storage areas and manufacturing areas as well as supervision of direct reporting staff.

Goods In:

The Inventory / Warehouse Manager will supervise the receipt of all material into the company ensuring all deliveries contain the correct product and documentation. Provide liaison with QA management to ensure all goods inwards inspection processes are identified and completed. Supervise receipt of product into stock control system and electronic storage of related documentation.

Storage Locations:

Ensure all raw material items are stored in an efficient manner to minimise stock loss and reduce access time whilst using available storage areas optimally. Design, implement and maintain stock location controls to be used in conjunction with the stock control system to identify inventory positions. Provide continuous stock check data and liaise with auditors.

Manufacturing supply:

Liaise with manufacturing supervisors and managers to ensure all production areas contain correct levels of inventory required to complete current demand and product type.

Engineering & QA:

Provide support to engineering and QA departments when raw material or finished goods are required for product development or testing purposes ensuring relevant transactions are recorded in the stock control system.

Finished goods:

Liaise with manufacturing staff to arrange movement of completed finished goods from manufacturing areas to warehouse area. Ensure all finished goods are strictly controlled.


Liaise with sales administrators and supervise direct staff to ensure all customer orders of finished goods are picked and packed on time. Ensure all shipment weight and dimension details are communicated to sales admin staff and coordinate with planned freight forwarders. Coordinate ordering of shipping packaging. Ensure all despatch related documentation is stored electronically.


Education to tertiary level not essential but preferred.

Experience in a similar position.

Information technology competent.

Perfect knowledge of English (written and spoken)
