Warehouse Operative

My growing client based in Great Blakenham are currently looking for 2 experienced Warehouse Operatives to join their team! We are ideally looking for somebody with their forklift licence, however this is negotiable, and training can be provided for the right person!

The role

  • Unloading and loading of containers and lorries

  • Counting and confirming inventory

  • Inspecting inventory for any damages and communicating this to the relevant departments

  • Marking and labelling stock

  • Completing all paperwork as instructed

    • Devan sheets

    • Put away notes

    • Collection and delivery notes

    • Obtaining signatures from divers

    • Completing collection information

  • Loading and wrapping stock on pallets

  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy to Health and Safety regulations

  • Taking photos of inbound containers and outbound loads, and ensuring photos and documents are uploaded to EDocs system

What do we need from you?

  • Experience in working within a busy warehouse

  • Good written and spoken English

  • IT skills

  • Counterbalance and reach licence, desirable but not essential

  • Desire to gain permanent, long-term employment

The offer

  • Salary of £21,000-£23,000 dependent on experience and licences

  • Monday-Friday, 8am-5.30pm

  • Full training provided

  • Immediate start
