Role Purpose

To deliver high performing warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment to include goods in and stock checking of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Close working relationship required with warehouse team supervisor.

Work Context

This position will provide effective stock management as part of a team brought together in response to the current high demand for PPE.

Representative accountability's

  • Assist Logistics Manager to manage the full warehouse operation and team and deputise in their absence.

  • Manage the day to day stock lay down to meet operational needs across multiple sites.

  • Take overall responsibility for the receipt and dispatch of all goods

  • Stock audits and forecasting as required, to ensure the correct inventory levels

  • Review of service levels provided by and to the organisation

  • Liaise closely with Customer Relations team to ensure that the customer experience and expectation is exceeded at all times through an efficient operation

  • Take full responsibility and management of the Health & Safety policies within the warehouse, this will include all team training

  • Implementation and management of all staff training within the warehouse

  • Dealing with any site/facility issues as reported by the business

Experience/Skills required

  • Stock or equipment management experience.

  • Warehouse management experience

  • Good arithmetic and proficient in excel document creation.

  • Excellent communicator at all levels, this will include colleagues, customers and suppliers of good and services to the business

  • Flexible and adaptable attitude

  • High levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility

  • Driven to exceed deadlines

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and organisation skills.

  • Can work independent, proactive and as part of a high efficient small team
