We are working exclusively with a global, industry leading employer based in the mid Kent area. We are seeking an experienced warehouse supervisor to join a distribution operation that delivers high standards of compliance and customer excellence. This rare opportunity will allow the successful candidate to join a highly organised team and organisation that can offer huge opportunity for future development and career growth.

This position is based in a modern purpose-built warehouse and offers additional facilities such as an on-site gym, subsidised canteen and free parking. This position will see you directly manage in excess of 20 employees; so some of the key criteria include outstanding communication skill, previous man management experience and the ability to work in a regulated environment. The role will initially be offered on a temporary contract for three months with a permanent contract of employment offered after a successful trial period.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate your team to deliver performance and compliance objectives

  • Monitor performance via a number of different channels including monthly one to ones and team meetings

  • Ensure all customer orders are delivered on time and in full by managing appropriate resources

  • Ensure department achieves compliance and regulatory standards

  • Regularly analyse and identify processes to improve efficiencies and overall running of operation through reporting and data analysis

  • Ensure all warehouse procedures are maintained and effective

  • Managing any operational challenges that may arise

  • Managing department within budget

Working hours:

Monday - Friday 1000 - 1800 (Flexibility will be required dependant on business needs)


Up to £35,000.00 dependant on experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse/FMCG environment and people management skills is essential for this role

  • Applicants must be confident using Microsoft office applications specifically Excel and PowerPoint

  • Candidates with experience of working in a regulated environment would be in advantage

  • SAP knowledge would be advantageous but not essential
