Witness Care Officer


We currently have a fantastic opportunity for some to join Devon & Cornwall Police as a Witness Care Officer. This position is to cover maternity leave until June 2023 and is based in Exeter. The main responsibility is to deliver a customer focused service by providing care to witnesses.


Responsibilities:



  • Inputting, retrieving and presenting data

  • Presenting evidence in court and other hearings when required

  • Providing specialist advice and knowledge

  • To act as a single point of contact for anyone who has an interest in the case


Requirements:



  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Experience of dealing with a wide range of people from a cross section of the community

  • Brilliant communication skills

  • Experience in MS Office
