Adecco currently have an exciting opportunity for Engineering Technician in Worcester

This is temporary position, permanent for right person.

37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri

Pay Rate: £10.50 per hour

Primary duties

  • Manual machining of parts (lathe, mill, etc.)

  • Hand finishing of parts

  • Operation of Wire EDM machine

  • Operation of multi-axis CNC machine

  • Record keeping related to the above

  • Maintenance & consumables management for the above

Secondary duties

  • Some cross training with other job functions will be required, e.g:

o Inspection & measurement of parts:

  • Visual inspection

  • Coordinate measuring machine

  • Shadowgraph, etc.

o Goods receipt & dispatch

Person requirements

  • Committed individual willing to work the hours required to get the job done

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

  • Attention to detail; ability to work to defined procedures and accurately record results

  • Computer literate

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Knowledge of basic machine tools and workshop skills is essential:

o Milling

o Turning

o Bench skills

  • Full driving license

  • This vacancy would also suite someone who has recently completed a craft apprenticeship
