Role: Video Partner Sales Lead

Duration: 12 months from July 2021

Salary: 57-,000 £ - 69,000 £ per year

Location: London

Area Description

The Video team is part of the Global Business Organization, made up of the advertising sales and support teams around the globe who aim to generate ad revenue to fuel innovation and keep great content accessible to all users globally.

The team serves as the primary interface between regional and sales channels Go-to-Market teams, Product Management (different entertainment platforms)

Role Description

The mission of the Video Sales team is to drive strategic partner investment via direct sales enablement and product commercialization to grow premium content and drive revenue on the video platform.

Your knowledge of online media sales and ad tech combined with your communications skills, analytical abilities, and project management expertise will shape how new and existing Video Partners create successful and scalable sales businesses on our platforms.

In this role you will serve as the primary interface between Video partners, Regional partner management teams and Video organizations. In this role you'll work closely with teams across Video Content, Tech, Sales and to collect market feedback, commercialize new and existing products and features, and drive forward-looking strategy to help partners grow their Video partner sold revenue.


  • As a Partner Sales Lead, you will work with Video content partners, enabling them to sell directly to advertisers via ad serving integrations, driving an ancillary revenue stream for Video, including onboarding new partners into the program

  • You will manage the ad sales relationship with several strategic Video Partners in tandem with the Strategic Partner Manager and be an internal advocate for the Partner Sales business.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful launch, activation, and adoption of Partner Sales products

  • Work across product, regional sales leadership, Video content leadership, LPS, Partner Ad Ops, and LCS to drive Video Partner Sales product commercialization strategy globally

  • Partner with Partner Sales leads and Video leadership in each market to deeply understand partner-by-partner needs, distill market feedback, anticipate product issues and provide product activation support

  • Own partner sales enablement collateral, documentation, and resources

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in the digital video ads and publisher ecosystem

  • Deep understanding of ad serving technology and products including Google's solutions: Google Ad Manager, DV360

  • Excellent communication to address complex offerings and translate them simply for a variety of audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Excellent project management and execution skills, especially experience managing complex projects with stakeholders across multiple functions and product areas.

  2. Excellent partner management skills with the ability to build strong and trusted relationships with external C-level execs from scratch

  3. Familiarity with YouTube advertising products

  4. Ability to connect a wide group of stakeholders, balance competing needs and influence across organizations.

  5. Experience developing compelling business cases - including research, analysis and synthesizing key insights to align to broader strategic objectives

  6. Ability to lead and motivate yourself and others in an ambiguous environment with long-term objectives

  7. Experience launching & commercializing new products and features
